Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Pandey recently visited The Cliff, an emerging adventure tourism hub, where he enjoyed the unique experience of the Sky Cafe. Accompanied by Yubaraj Joshi, President of the Nepali Congress Parbat District, Minister Pandey relished light refreshments at the Sky Cafe and expressed appreciation for The Cliff’s successful establishment as a model tourist destination.
According to Raju Karki, Chairman of The Cliff, the Sky Cafe has become a preferred attraction among government officials, politicians, diplomats, celebrities, and the general public. Several high-profile visitors, including Health and Population Minister Pradip Paudel, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Maoist leader Janardan Sharma, Armed Police Force Inspector General Raju Aryal, actress Barsha Siwakoti, and singer Prakash Saput, have already experienced the thrill of the Sky Cafe.
The Cliff, conceptualized and led by Raju Karki, is built over the Kali Gandaki River Gorge, connecting Parbat and Baglung’s Balewa region. It offers some of the world’s most extreme adventure activities, including the world’s highest swing and the second-highest bungee jump. Additionally, The Cliff features the world’s highest commercial sky cycling, rock climbing, slingshot swing, crazy bridge, sky gliding, and sky chair. The upcoming couple bungee and mega troll are in the final stages of preparation.
The Cliff’s resort also provides luxury cottage rooms, while an infinity swimming pool and a conference hall are under construction, enhancing its appeal as a premium adventure tourism destination in Nepal.
