Tourist activity in the popular destination of Bandipur has increased significantly, particularly due to the Dashain holidays, which have attracted more domestic visitors. According to Kisan Pradhan, Chairman of the Bandipur Tourism Development Committee, the region boasts key attractions such as the Thanimai Temple, the Mini Great Wall (Mani Mukundeshwari), the Vindhyabasini Temple, the Patale Dwar Cave, and the Shahid Smarak Park, among a total of 17 destinations.
The committee has prepared information about these attractions in seven languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and French. Notably, Chinese tourists make up the largest group of international visitors this season. Bandipur has become a favored destination for travelers from Japan, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, France, the United States, Germany, Denmark, Pakistan, Australia, the UK, Ireland, South Korea, Belgium, Thailand, Switzerland, Malaysia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Iran, India, Greece, and Argentina.
Many tourists visit Bandipur to enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, adding to the area’s appeal as a prime location for adventure and sightseeing.
