A tourist guide was injured in a rhino attack while guiding visitors at the Sadabahar Buffer Zone Community Forest in Chitwan district today.
The incident occurred when Jagat Bahadur Majhi, 28, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, was guiding tourists through the forest. According to Abhinash Thapa Magar, Information Officer at Chitwan National Park, Majhi was attacked by a rhino during the tour.
Majhi sustained injuries from the attack and is currently receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital. Authorities are investigating the incident, which highlights the potential risks of wildlife encounters in the region, popular among tourists for its rich biodiversity and wildlife viewing opportunities
