Two courageous Nepali women who successfully summited the world’s highest mountain, Mount Everest, have been honored at a special event in Dallas, Texas. Photojournalist Purnima Shrestha, who has climbed Everest five times, and mountaineer Usha Bista, who has summited it twice, were felicitated amidst an emotional and inspiring ceremony held at the auditorium of the Nepali Cultural and Spiritual Center, Dallas.
