In March of this year, 122,000 tourists visited Nepal. According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 121,687 foreign tourists arrived in Nepal in March 2025. The highest number of visitors were from India (21,412), followed by China (11,443), the United States (11,092), Sri Lanka (8,886), the United Kingdom (5,995), and Thailand (4,986).
Compared to March 2024, this year saw a 5.1% decrease in the number of tourists. In March 2024, 128,167 tourists visited Nepal. In comparison, before the COVID-19 pandemic, 127,351 tourists visited Nepal in March 2019.
