The President of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya, along with other board members, held a productive meeting with the Honorable Minister of Labour, Employment, and Social Security, Mr. Dol Prasad Aryal, at Singha Durbar.
During the meeting, NATTA, a non-political entity dedicated to supporting tourism businesses, reiterated its commitment to fostering a supportive environment for its members. President Thapaliya emphasized the importance of protecting the rights and interests of tourism businesses, which are crucial for the sector’s growth and sustainability.
A key topic of discussion was the concern over unfair legal actions affecting NATTA members. President Thapaliya and the board members highlighted the need for swift resolutions to these issues to maintain a fair and just business climate. They stressed that addressing these legal concerns promptly is essential to ensure the continued prosperity of tourism businesses in Nepal.
Minister Aryal acknowledged the challenges faced by the tourism sector and expressed his commitment to working collaboratively with NATTA to find effective solutions. He assured the association of his ministry’s support in resolving the legal issues and enhancing the overall business environment for tourism entrepreneurs.
