The Kaskeli Authorized Society is actively engaged in promoting various religious and tourist destinations across the districts of Kaski and Lamjung as part of its annual program. The society has been organizing promotional visits to different religious, historical, and cultural landmarks in these regions, aiming to enhance tourism in the area.
This year, the society plans to further extend its tourism promotion activities, including visits to notable destinations in both Kaski and Lamjung districts. According to the society’s president, Chandra Bahadur Subedi, the initiative will focus on highlighting some of the key attractions in the region.

Among the selected destinations are the Lamjung Durbar in the village municipality of Lamjung, the Ishaneshwor Mahadev Temple in Madhyapahad Municipality at Karaputar, the Dr. Hark Gurung Memorial Park in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, the Upper Marsyangdi Hydropower Dam, and Jalsiddhi Mahadev located at Rupatal in Kaski. These locations, rich in religious, historical, and cultural significance, are being promoted as part of the society’s mission to boost tourism in the area.

The promotional tours are conducted annually to raise awareness about the region’s attractions, with the primary goal of attracting both domestic and international tourists. President Chandra Bahadur Subedi stated that promoting these destinations is crucial for increasing the number of visitors and contributing to the economic prosperity of the region. Through these initiatives, the society aims to increase the visibility of these tourism spots, thereby encouraging more visitors to explore the cultural heritage of Kaski and Lamjung.

During an event held in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality, the chairman of the local government, Arjun Gurung, expressed his views on the need for greater promotional efforts for the region’s tourism. He emphasized that most of Lamjung’s tourism sites are still awaiting proper promotion. Meanwhile, the chairman of the Hark Gurung Memorial Park, Til Bahadur Gurung, highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting the park, which was established to honor the late Dr. Hark Gurung.
Mahesh Paudel, the society’s secretary, also shared his optimism regarding the program’s potential to showcase the historical significance of the Lamjung Durbar, the religious and cultural importance of Ishaneshwor Mahadev, and the various other tourist possibilities in the region. Paudel believes that this initiative will further enhance the visibility of the diverse attractions in the area, ultimately contributing to the growth of the local tourism sector. By focusing on both historical and religious sites, the Kaskeli Authorized Society continues to play a significant role in promoting tourism in Kaski and Lamjung, with the hope of driving more visitors to these lesser-known yet culturally rich destinations by Kaskeli.
