Through the efforts of the private sector, a 10-day regional fair encompassing agriculture, tourism, culture, and industry has begun in Khalanga, Jumla. The Jumla Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized the fair with the goal of promoting regional goods, customs, and travel.

The festival is anticipated to showcase Karnali’s agricultural, cultural, and tourism legacy while also disseminating a positive message regarding industrial development, according to Chamber President Purichandra Devkota. He underlined how crucial the fair is to promoting regional goods and increasing travel.

There will be 22 stalls at the festival, all of which have already been reserved, and special performances by regional Karnali artists. These booths will feature handicrafts, regional specialties, and native crops. Devkota pointed out that in order to provide tourists with a genuine Jumla experience, emphasis is being placed on regional customs and flavors.

The event’s primary goal is to find investment opportunities that will help Jumla and the entire Karnali Province prosper economically by drawing in local, national, and foreign capital. The fair will continue until the 24th of Baisakh.
