‘World’s Best Destination Nepal’ Fifth Art Exhibition Concludes in Pokhara

The fifth edition of the “World’s Best Destination Nepal” Art Exhibition concluded successfully, showcasing Nepal’s rich cultural and natural heritage through the medium of visual arts. The exhibition was organized at the Pokhara Exhibition Center, Naya Bazar, as part of the 34th National Industrial and Trade Fair and the 13th CAN Infotech–2082.

Artworks by Nepal Art Journey Advocate Nagen Singh

The exhibition featured unique artworks created by Nagen Singh, a passionate advocate of the Nepal Art Journey initiative. Singh’s creations reflect the diverse landscapes, culture, and tourism potential of Nepal, with each piece inspired by his travels across the country’s 77 districts.

The exhibition aimed to further Nepal’s image as a premier tourist destination worldwide. Singh has also been publishing the Nepal Art Journey book, with a long-term goal to translate and release it in 197 languages globally, according to Gokarna Karki, President of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Public Participation Encouraged Through Symbolic Contribution

Singh invited enthusiasts and art lovers to contribute Rs. 100 or more to support the grand campaign, making everyone a participant in promoting Nepal’s tourism and cultural heritage. So far, over 1,815 individuals have joined the campaign, helping raise both awareness and funds.

Chintamani Kharel, Chairperson of the Nepal Art Journey Book Publication Committee, explained that all contributors will have their names featured in the book. This initiative aims to emotionally connect supporters to the campaign while creating a sense of shared ownership of Nepal’s art and cultural promotion.

Capturing Nepal’s Heritage in Visual Art

The book and exhibition highlight Singh’s artistic journey across all 77 districts of Nepal, portraying their natural beauty, cultural traditions, and tourism sites. Each artwork serves as both a tribute and a promotional tool for Nepal, blending creativity with national pride. The “World’s Best Destination Nepal” Art Exhibition not only celebrated the country’s artistic talent but also reinforced the ongoing efforts to position Nepal as a must-visit global tourism hub, engaging local communities and international visitors alike.
