As of Wednesday, the buying rate for the US dollar was NPR 133.58, and the selling rate was NPR 134.18. Today, the rates have adjusted to a buying price of NPR 133.46 and a selling price of NPR 134.06.
The Euro’s value has increased today, with the buying rate set at NPR 149.27 and the selling rate at NPR 149.94, compared to the previous day’s rates of NPR 148.61 and NPR 149.28, respectively. Similarly, the value of the UK pound has decreased, with the current buying rate at NPR 178.43 and the selling rate at NPR 179.23, down from the previous day’s rates of NPR 178.52 and NPR 179.32.
In addition to these major currencies, the Australian dollar is now valued at NPR 91.72 for buying and NPR 92.13 for selling, up from NPR 91.44 and NPR 91.85 on Wednesday. The Swiss franc is set at NPR 157.08 for buying and NPR 157.78 for selling, while the Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 99.30 and a selling rate of NPR 99.75.
Other notable currencies include the Japanese yen, with a buying rate of NPR 9.24 and a selling rate of NPR 9.28 for 10 yen. The Chinese yuan is priced at NPR 18.99 for buying and NPR 19.08 for selling. The Singapore dollar has been set at NPR 103.85 for buying and NPR 104.32 for selling.
For Middle Eastern currencies, the Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 35.57 and a selling rate of NPR 35.73, while the Qatari riyal is at NPR 36.61 for buying and NPR 36.78 for selling. The Thai baht is valued at NPR 4.08 for buying and NPR 4.10 for selling, and the UAE dirham is priced at NPR 36.36 for buying and NPR 36.50 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 32.31 and a selling rate of NPR 32.45.
The South Korean won stands at NPR 10.02 for buying and NPR 10.06 for selling for 100 won. The Swedish krona is set at NPR 13.19 for buying and NPR 13.35 for selling, while the Danish krone is at NPR 20.02 for buying and NPR 20.11 for selling. The Hong Kong dollar is priced at NPR 17.14 for buying and NPR 17.22 for selling.
Finally, the Kuwaiti dinar is valued at NPR 437.24 for buying and NPR 429.21 for selling, and the Bahraini dinar is set at NPR 354.08 for buying and NPR 357.67 for selling. The Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that exchange rates may vary in the open market.
