According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather across Nepal is currently influenced by partial effects of westerly winds, with additional local wind activity affecting the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
This afternoon, most hilly areas are expected to experience partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will see mainly clear skies. Light to moderate rain is anticipated in some parts of the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Similarly, tonight, partly to generally cloudy weather will continue in the hilly areas, while clear skies are expected for most other regions. There is a chance of light to moderate rain in isolated locations across the hilly terrain of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
For the next 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall is likely in one or two locations across the hilly regions of all provinces.
