To strengthen tourism promotion and enhance business collaboration in the capital, Kathmandu Sightseeing Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the District Hotel Entrepreneurs Association Kathmandu and the Ekata Hotel and Guesthouse Entrepreneurs’ Association. The agreement was formalized during a special event held at Sky Tower, Kamaladi.

Speaking at the event, Director of Kathmandu Sightseeing, Dr. Allen Bailochan Tuladhar, outlined the company’s vision to offer tourists a modern, convenient, and comprehensive sightseeing experience across major attractions within the Kathmandu Valley. He highlighted that leveraging technology and professional service delivery would significantly improve the overall visitor experience by sightseeing.

Under the agreement, the three parties have committed to implementing integrated marketing campaigns to promote Kathmandu as a prime tourist destination. A major component of the partnership includes managing tourist services at arrival points, particularly at airports, where information dissemination, ticketing, and transportation arrangements will be jointly handled.

Additionally, DHEA will incorporate Kathmandu Sightseeing services into its network by onboarding member hotels as official sales partners. These hotels will actively participate in promotional activities such as brochure distribution, branding initiatives, and direct customer engagement.

The collaboration also extends to incorporating Kathmandu Sightseeing in DHEA’s annual programs, publications, and promotional campaigns. Both sides have further agreed to jointly organize tourism promotion and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
