Emirates Skywards, the loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai, has brought back its popular “Mile-A-Minute” promotion, allowing eligible members to earn one bonus Skywards Mile for every minute spent in Dubai, up to a maximum of 7,200 Miles. Announced on 22 October 2026, the offer returns as Dubai enters its winter tourism season, when festivals, outdoor activities, shopping, and entertainment attract international visitors.
First introduced in 2021, the promotion gives travellers an opportunity to earn bonus Miles in addition to those available through eligible Emirates and flydubai flights. Whether visiting Dubai for a short city break, a family holiday, or a longer stopover, members can earn rewards while exploring the city’s cultural attractions, restaurants, shopping destinations, and leisure experiences.

Eligibility and Key Dates for Travellers
To qualify, Emirates Skywards members must register for the promotion and book an eligible return flight originating outside the United Arab Emirates between 21 October and 5 November 2026. Travel to Dubai must take place between 21 October and 13 December 2026, with a minimum stay of 24 hours and a maximum stay of 30 days. The promotion is available to members residing outside the UAE across all cabin classes and fare types on Emirates and flydubai.
Eligible travellers can receive up to 7,200 bonus Skywards Miles, equivalent to five days in Dubai under the offer’s calculation. Bonus Miles are calculated using scheduled arrival and departure times in Dubai and automatically credited to qualifying members after their stay. Travellers who are not yet members can join Emirates Skywards for free and register before the booking deadline, subject to the promotion’s terms and conditions.

More Opportunities to Earn Miles Across Dubai
Beyond the promotional bonus, members can earn additional Skywards Miles through the programme’s hotel, shopping, dining, and lifestyle partners across Dubai. Eligible stays at Atlantis The Palm, selected desert safaris and sightseeing experiences with Arabian Adventures, and qualifying purchases at Dubai Mall offer further opportunities to collect rewards while enjoying the city.
Members can also use the Skywards Everyday app to earn Miles at participating businesses across the UAE, including outlets offering dining, shopping, wellness, and leisure services. The app allows users to register up to five payment cards, making it easier to earn Miles through eligible everyday purchases. These partnerships extend the loyalty programme beyond air travel and give visitors more ways to accumulate rewards during their stay.

Turning Bonus Miles Into Travel Rewards
Skywards Miles can be redeemed for flight tickets and upgrades on Emirates and flydubai, hotel stays, and selected experiences through Skywards Exclusives. Members can also use the Cash + Miles option to reduce the cost of eligible flights or access rewards through the Skywards Rail network in Europe, providing different ways to use the Miles they accumulate.
The renewed promotion highlights Emirates Skywards’ strategy of linking travel rewards with experiences at the destination itself. By encouraging international visitors to explore Dubai while earning bonus Miles, the campaign adds another incentive to book a stopover or holiday in the city. Interested travellers can register through emirates.com, the Emirates app, flydubai.com, or other eligible channels before 5 November 2026. All participation remains subject to the offer’s terms and conditions.
