Storm Expected to Make Second Landfall

Meteorologists forecast that Maysak will continue moving north-northwest at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour, maintaining its current strength before making a second landfall on Saturday night. The storm is expected to strike coastal areas near the border between China’s Guangxi region and northern Vietnam before turning northward and gradually weakening over land. Authorities have advised residents in affected coastal regions to remain alert for potential heavy rainfall, strong winds, localized flooding, and travel disruptions as the storm continues its path.
