Government Committed to Aviation Safety: Minister Pandey

Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, has emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring safety in the aviation sector.

Speaking at a program held today to mark International Civil Aviation Day, Minister Pandey stated that a “safe sky” is the government’s top priority. He highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance aviation safety, including the constant vigilance of regulatory bodies to ensure secure flights.

Minister Pandey also announced that the process of establishing a permanent commission for investigating aviation accidents has been initiated. This move aims to strengthen the mechanisms for addressing aviation incidents and preventing future occurrences.

This year, International Civil Aviation Day is being celebrated under the theme, “Advancing Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Together for the Next 80 Years.”

The event underscored Nepal’s dedication to aligning with global aviation standards and enhancing safety measures for a sustainable and secure future in the aviation industry.
