HSMAN Hosts Fifth Sales Meet 2026 to Strengthen Hospitality Industry Networking

The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association Nepal (HSMAN) hosted its fifth Sales Meet 2026 at Wave Hospitality, Kathmandu, bringing together sales and marketing professionals from hotels, resorts, travel agencies and other segments of Nepal’s hospitality and tourism industry.

The annual gathering served as a networking and business exchange platform, providing hospitality professionals with an opportunity to meet, interact, share experiences and strengthen professional relationships. The program featured a meet-and-greet session, networking activities, fun interactions and a cocktail dinner, creating an informal environment for professionals from different hotels and businesses to connect.

HSMAN Marks Growing Journey Since 2022

Addressing the gathering, Dipak Pokhrel, General Secretary of HSMAN, expressed happiness over the participation of hospitality professionals and reflected on the association’s journey since its establishment in 2022.

Pokhrel recalled that HSMAN’s journey began on August 31, 2022, at Hotel Satkar & Spa, when sales professionals from hotels and resorts came together under a common platform.

“What started as a small initiative has now developed into a meaningful platform for unity, professional relationships, networking, business exchange and growth,” Pokhrel said.

Since its establishment, HSMAN has continued organizing the Sales Meet as an annual platform to bring hospitality sales and marketing professionals together and strengthen connections within the industry.

Five Sales Meets Organized Since Inception

HSMAN has successfully organized five Sales Meet events since its establishment.

The first Sales Meet was held on September 19, 2022, at Tapes Resort, followed by the second Sales Meet on September 20, 2023, at the same venue.

The third Sales Meet was held on September 20, 2024, in Chitlang, Makwanpur, while the fourth Sales Meet took place on July 4, 2025, at Best Western Plus Kathmandu.

The fifth Sales Meet 2026 was held at Wave Hospitality, Kathmandu, bringing the series into its fifth edition.

Networking at the Heart of Sales Meet

Speaking about the purpose of the program, HSMAN President Rabinson Maharjan said the Sales Meet has been designed primarily as a networking platform for sales professionals representing different hotels and hospitality businesses across Nepal.

He emphasized that bringing professionals from different properties together in an informal setting allows them to build stronger relationships, exchange business contacts, share market experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration.

According to Maharjan, the event is not limited to formal discussions but focuses on creating a comfortable environment where hospitality professionals can meet and greet one another, enjoy interactive activities and strengthen their professional network.

The combination of networking, entertainment and a cocktail dinner made the event an opportunity for professionals to connect beyond their regular workplace environment.

Token of Love Ceremony Adds Special Touch

The Sales Meet also featured a Token of Love Distribution Ceremony, honoring hospitality and tourism professionals, as well as media personalities associated with the industry.

The ceremony added a warm and memorable element to the annual gathering while recognizing the contribution and support of individuals who have been connected with Nepal’s hospitality and tourism sector.

The event brought together representatives from hotels, resorts, travel businesses and other industry organizations for meaningful interactions, professional connections and business networking.

HSMAN Expands Focus Beyond Sales Meet

HSMAN General Secretary Pokhrel said the association’s future vision goes beyond organizing the annual Sales Meet. The association plans to create additional opportunities for learning, networking, collaboration and professional development across the hospitality and tourism sectors.

One of the key initiatives under consideration is a Tourism Meet that would bring together stakeholders from hotels, resorts, travel agencies and the wider tourism industry.

The association also plans to organize regular training and skill-development programs for sales and marketing professionals. It aims to collaborate with hospitality and tourism associations to conduct joint programs, workshops, networking events and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

HSMAN further plans to expand B2B networking and business exchange opportunities and encourage young hospitality professionals to join its growing network, supporting their career development and professional advancement.

Social Responsibility Remains Part of HSMAN Activities

Alongside professional networking and industry development, HSMAN has also incorporated social responsibility into its activities.

As part of this commitment, the association organized a blood donation program on February 8, 2026, at Crystal Pashupati, Gaushala.

The initiative reflected the association’s broader objective of contributing to the community while bringing hospitality professionals together for activities beyond their professional responsibilities.

Building a Stronger Hospitality Community

Pokhrel expressed gratitude to the HSMAN Executive Committee, members, sponsors, partners, hoteliers, sales professionals and others who have contributed to the association’s development.

He emphasized that the continued participation and support of industry professionals will remain essential to strengthening HSMAN and making its future programs more impactful.

HSMAN’s vision is built around five key principles: Togetherness, Unity, Networking, Learning and Business Growth.

With its continued focus on professional networking, business exchange, knowledge sharing and social responsibility, HSMAN aims to strengthen connections among Nepal’s hospitality and tourism professionals and contribute to the sustainable growth of the industry.
