This will give international audiences an insight into Pokhara.

This will show how varied the experiences are in Nepal.

Collaboration with TikTok to promote Nepal

This visit follows the collaboration between NTB and TikTok through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on August 19 2025. A campaign named #LifetimeExperiences was created to showcase Nepal’s beautiful Himalayan landscapes, culture, adventure tourism and local lifestyle through short videos. The collaboration also aims to inspire both local and international creators to explore Nepal’s destinations.

The collaboration continued throughout 2026 with more digital promotion activities. A 3 day Travel Content Creation Workshop was held in Kathmandu from June 24 to 26. Organized through collaboration between NTB and TikTok, the workshop brought together tourism entrepreneurs, digital creators, trekkers, mountaineers and other industry professionals. Attendees had training on digital storytelling, video creation and how to promote destinations through social media.

Creators will create videos to increase Nepal’s reach digitally

Throughout their visit the creators will create videos and other content highlighting the natural and cultural aspects of their allocated destinations. Local tourism businesses, hospitality, food, adventure and unique experiences will also be featured. This will help increase awareness of Nepal’s destinations to international travelers through TikTok and other social media platforms. The creators will provide insight into the destinations and will help reach younger audiences who use digital platforms for travel ideas.

The collaboration with creators will help raise the profile of Pokhara, Chitwan and Bardiya internationally. It will also provide new marketing opportunities for local tourism businesses. Highlighting real life experiences, beautiful destinations and personal stories can help potential travelers understand what these locations are offering. Continuing to work with international creators will help increase Nepal’s digital tourism presence and showcase its beautiful destinations, culture and adventure.
