Majestic Lakefront Hotel & Suites Pvt. Ltd., located at Lakeside, Pokhara, celebrated its first anniversary with a special event focusing on the cleanup of Phewa Lake and the recognition of outstanding employees.
In celebration of the anniversary, the hotel organized a cleanup drive at Phewa Lake, removing water hyacinth, plastic, bottles, and other waste materials. The cleanup effort was led by hotel proprietor Sunil Bahadur Bhattarai, who was joined by his family and 60 hotel employees.
On this occasion, several employees were honored for their exemplary service. Chef Rajesh Sunuwar was awarded Head of Department of the Year, Resham Thapa received Employee of the Year, Shukrakumari Ale was named Employee of the Month, and Krishna Poudel was recognized as the Rising Employee of the Year. Bhattarai stated that these awards aim to motivate and encourage staff in their work.
Majestic Lakefront Hotel & Suites has become a favorite among both domestic and international tourists, providing high-quality services. The hotel has been ranked among the top five hotels in the Pokhara area by TripAdvisor, according to Bhattarai.
Situated on approximately four ropani of land, the hotel represents an investment of Rs 150 million. It features 36 rooms, including five suites and six family rooms. The hotel’s restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including continental cuisine. “We felt the need for a well-equipped hotel in Pokhara and invested accordingly,” said Bhattarai. “Guests at Majestic Lakefront experience something unique.” The hotel provides direct employment to 60 individuals.
