Music Jatra Cultural Festival to Kick Off in Dharan on Sunday

The Music Jatra Cultural Festival will take place in Dharan starting this Sunday, Poush 7, and will run until Poush 17. The festival, which aims to promote tourism and celebrate music, culture, and entertainment for the prosperity of Dharan, was announced today during a press conference.

Organized by Nature Club Dharan, Nishan Tribhuwali Development Organization, and in collaboration with the Triveni Women’s Group Dharan, the festival will be held at Bagarkot Everest Line in Ward 15 of Dharan Metropolitan City.

Krishna Rai, President of the Nature Club Dharan, shared that the festival will feature a variety of cultural performances and an emphasis on traditional and ethnic foods, including organic culinary offerings.

The festival will also showcase performances by well-known national and local artists. To make the event even more engaging and entertaining, a range of activities for all age groups will be organized, including rope climbing, dragon games, breakdancing, boat rides, and Mickey Mouse-themed games.

Entry to the festival will be free during the day, while a fee will be charged from 4:00 PM onwards, considering the presence of the artists. This cultural celebration promises to be an exciting and enriching event for the people of Dharan and visitors alike.
