Nepal Airlines has once again rescheduled its Kathmandu–Narita–Kathmandu (RA-433/434) flights due to an aircraft technical issue, urging affected passengers to adjust their travel itineraries accordingly. In a travel advisory issued on July 8, 2026, the national carrier said the schedule change was necessary because of technical reasons affecting the operation of its Tokyo-bound service.
Revised flight schedule announced
According to the airline, Flight RA-433 (Kathmandu–Narita), originally scheduled to depart on July 8, 2026, has been rescheduled to July 9, 2026, with a new departure time of 7:30 a.m. (local time). Similarly, Flight RA-434 (Narita–Kathmandu), initially scheduled for July 9, 2026, will now operate on July 10, 2026, departing at 7:00 p.m. (local time). The latest revision follows an earlier postponement of the same service, resulting in further adjustments for passengers traveling between Nepal and Japan.
Airline apologizes for inconvenience
Nepal Airlines expressed regret over the continued disruption and apologized to passengers affected by the revised schedule. The airline requested all travelers booked on the affected flights to review their travel plans and make the necessary adjustments based on the updated departure dates and times. “Nepal Airlines sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused by the flight disturbances and appreciates the kind cooperation and understanding of all our valued passengers,” the airline said in its notice.

To assist affected travelers, Nepal Airlines has advised passengers to contact its customer service centers for urgent inquiries and updated travel information. The airline has provided dedicated contact numbers for its Kathmandu office as well as its Narita representatives to help passengers with rebooking, schedule changes and other travel-related assistance. The airline reiterated that the rescheduling was undertaken to ensure operational safety and reliability, emphasizing that passenger safety remains its highest priority.
