Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Friday, reflecting an increase in the values of several major currencies, including the US Dollar, Euro, and Australian Dollar.
According to NRB, the buying rate for 1 US Dollar is set at NPR 134.88, while the selling rate stands at NPR 135.48. Similarly, 1 Euro has a buying rate of NPR 142.37 and a selling rate of NPR 143.01. The buying and selling rates for 1 UK Pound Sterling are NPR 170.90 and NPR 171.66, respectively, while the Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 152.61 for buying and NPR 153.29 for selling.
For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 87.68, with the selling rate at NPR 88.07. The Canadian Dollar is priced at NPR 96.31 for buying and NPR 96.74 for selling, and the Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 100.39 and a selling rate of NPR 100.83.
In Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen is set at NPR 8.88 for buying and NPR 8.92 for selling. Similarly, 1 Chinese Yuan is valued at NPR 18.61 for buying and NPR 18.69 for selling. Among Gulf currencies, 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at NPR 35.91 for buying and NPR 36.07 for selling, while 1 Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 37.00 for buying and NPR 37.17 for selling.
Other notable rates include the Thai Baht at NPR 3.92 (buying) and NPR 3.94 (selling), the UAE Dirham at NPR 36.72 (buying) and NPR 36.88 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.33 (buying) and NPR 30.47 (selling). South Korea’s Won is valued at NPR 9.66 per 100 units for buying and NPR 9.71 for selling. The Swedish Krona and Danish Krone are priced at NPR 12.35 (buying) and NPR 12.41 (selling) and NPR 19.09 (buying) and NPR 19.17 (selling), respectively.
For other currencies, the Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.33 for buying and NPR 17.41 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies, is priced at NPR 438.66 (buying) and NPR 440.61 (selling). Similarly, 1 Bahraini Dinar is valued at NPR 357.75 for buying and NPR 359.34 for selling, and 1 Omani Rial is priced at NPR 350.33 for buying and NPR 351.89 for selling. The Indian Rupee is stable at NPR 160 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 units.
