Nepal Tourism Board Showcases ‘Lifetime Experiences’ at FITUR 2025

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), made a strong impression at FITUR 2025, held in Madrid from January 22 to 26. With 25 Nepalese tour operators participating, the event successfully promoted Nepal’s diverse tourism attractions and strengthened its presence in the Spanish market.

Nepal’s pavilion at Stall No. 6A03, themed “Lifetime Experiences,” highlighted the country’s iconic offerings, including mountaineering, trekking, cultural heritage, and nature-based tourism. The stall attracted over 20,000 visitors, many of whom showed keen interest in Nepal’s adventure tourism and rich cultural heritage. Given Spain’s peak travel season in June and July, NTB and NATTA leveraged FITUR 2025 as a strategic opportunity to position Nepal as a top destination for Spanish travelers.

The participation concluded with a Business Networking Program on January 26, graced by Nepal’s Ambassador to Spain, H.E. Shanil Nepal. Addressing the gathering, NATTA President Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya and NTB Senior Manager Mr. Santosh Kumar Ghimire emphasized the importance of FITUR 2025 in strengthening tourism ties between Nepal and Spain.

With FITUR 2025 proving to be a key platform for Nepal’s tourism sector, NTB and NATTA reaffirmed their commitment to promoting Nepal as a premier travel destination, offering visitors “A Journey Beyond Tourism.”
