The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) successfully represented Nepal at the prestigious Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2025, held in Mumbai from January 30 to February 1. As one of India’s largest international travel exhibitions, OTM provided Nepal with a valuable platform to strengthen its presence in the Indian outbound tourism market.

NTB, along with 28 leading Nepali travel companies, participated in the event, collectively promoting Nepal’s diverse tourism offerings to a global audience. The event, hosted at the world-class Jio World Convention Centre, witnessed the participation of exhibitors from over 80 countries and 30 Indian states, showcasing an extensive array of travel destinations and experiences.

Nepal’s pavilion at OTM 2025 became a focal point for business networking, enabling direct interactions between Nepali tourism stakeholders, Indian travel professionals, and international counterparts. Nepali travel companies presented a variety of travel packages tailored to Indian tourists, encompassing leisure tours, cultural and spiritual experiences, and adventure-packed treks.

The unique blend of Nepal’s nature, culture, adventure, and warm hospitality captured significant interest, reinforcing the country’s appeal among Indian travelers seeking immersive travel experiences.

Highlighting Nepal’s exceptional adventure tourism offerings, the country was honored with the prestigious ‘Best Adventure Destination’ award at OTM 2025. This recognition further cements Nepal’s reputation as a premier destination for thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts.
