Shree Airlines to Begin Kathmandu-Bharatpur Flights from Tomorrow

Shree Airlines is set to launch its commercial flight services between Kathmandu and Bharatpur starting tomorrow. The airline will operate an 80-seat Q400-8 aircraft for the new route, as announced by the company’s corporate director, Anil Manandhar.

Manandhar confirmed that chartered flights will begin on Friday, with regular flights scheduled to start from October 9. Two daily flights will be available for passengers traveling between Kathmandu and Bharatpur.

Due to the short runway at Bharatpur Airport, the aircraft will carry only 50 to 60 passengers, despite its seating capacity. Shree Airlines has set a one-way fare of NPR 4,500 for this route.

Currently, Buddha Air is the only carrier operating on this route, with nine daily flights. The addition of Shree Airlines is expected to offer more options for passengers traveling between the two cities.
