According to the Embassy, these engagements aim to deepen cooperation between Nepal and the United States in areas including education, economic development, tourism, and cultural exchange. During these interactions, she is also expected to advocate for freedom of expression and digital freedom as essential pillars of open societies and long-term economic prosperity.

Cultural Heritage Visit to Patan Durbar Square and AFCP Sites

Under Secretary Rogers will also visit the historic Patan Durbar Square, one of Nepal’s most significant UNESCO World Heritage Sites, to observe ongoing preservation efforts supported through U.S. assistance.
