Yeti Airlines and HAMS Hospital have signed separate agreements with the Mount Everest Climbers’ Association to offer special discounts on their services to record-breaking climbers. The agreement, which applies to climbers who have reached the summit of Mount Everest, provides various discounts to both the climbers and their families.

The agreement includes discounts on flight tickets with Yeti Airlines, offering the lowest fare along with additional special discounts for climbers and their families. Maya Sherpa, President of the Climbers’ Association, and Yubaraj Bista, Chief Commercial Officer of Yeti Airlines, signed the agreement. Additionally, HAMS Hospital has agreed to offer a 50% discount on services for world-record climbers and a 30% discount for record-breaking climbers and their families. The agreement was signed by Maya Sherpa, President of the Climbers’ Association, and Binod Kumar Dhungel, CEO of HAMS Hospital.

The event also saw the participation of First Vice President Dibash Pokharel and General Secretary Shiva Bahadur Sapkota from the Association. General Secretary Shiv Bahadur Sapkota mentioned that the cooperation between the two institutions is aimed at providing benefits to Everest climbers and their families. He highlighted the role of mountaineers in promoting adventure tourism and bringing in foreign exchange, underscoring the importance of this agreement as a recognition of their contributions.

The Association believes this collaboration will further honor the identity of record-breaking climbers and make it more impactful. The Association also continues its efforts in various activities, including mountain clean-ups, the Everest protection campaign, waste management, and raising awareness about climate change at COP-15 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
