Joe Harvey, accompanied by experienced guide Phurkitar Sherpa, has successfully reached the summit of Lobuche East (6,119 metres) in Nepal’s Khumbu region, marking an important milestone in his preparation for an upcoming Mount Everest expedition. The expedition was organised by 14 Peaks Expeditions, which confirmed that the ascent of Lobuche East plays a vital role in preparing climbers for Everest.
