Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Inaugurates Hilton Hotel in Kathmandu, Anticipates Boost in Tourism

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the Hilton Hotel in Naxal, Kathmandu, on Friday, expressing confidence that the new establishment will attract more foreign tourists to Nepal. During the inauguration ceremony, PM Oli extended his best wishes to the international hotel chain, Hilton. “I believe the operation of Hilton Hotel will contribute to Nepal’s tourism and hospitality,” he stated.

The Hilton Hotel, built by the Hotel Shankar Group, represents an investment of Rs 8 billion. The construction of this state-of-the-art facility began seven years ago and it now features 174 rooms. Hilton, an international hotel chain, operates 24 brands across 126 countries worldwide.

The addition of the Hilton Hotel to Kathmandu’s hospitality sector is expected to significantly enhance the city’s capacity to host international visitors, thereby boosting Nepal’s tourism industry.
