Ministry to Fill Vacant Posts Through Roster System for Greater Transparency

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) has announced that it will fill vacant positions in its subordinate bodies through a roster-based system aimed at improving transparency and efficiency in appointments and nominations.

The ministry has issued a public notice calling for the preparation of a “roster” (list) of experts and interested individuals for future appointments in various boards, committees, and institutions under its jurisdiction. Qualified Nepali citizens have been urged to register their names through an online application process.

Deadline Set for Application Submission

According to the notice issued by the spokesperson of MoCTCA and Joint Secretary Jayanarayan Acharya, applicants interested in being included in the roster must submit their applications by Jestha 4.

The ministry stated that the initiative is intended to make the appointment process more systematic, transparent, and merit-based across its affiliated institutions.

Institutions Under the Ministry’s Jurisdiction

The Ministry oversees several key organizations, including the Nepal Academy, Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Nepal Academy of Music and Drama, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Cultural Corporation, Taragaon Development Committee, and the Nepal Tourism Board, among others.

Online Registration Process Introduced

Eligible candidates can apply through the online link or QR code provided in the official notice. The ministry has encouraged qualified individuals to complete their registration within the deadline.

Officials said the roster system is expected to support merit-based selection and ensure greater transparency in appointments across all affiliated cultural, tourism, and aviation-related bodies.
