Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism has launched the “Hospitality Ambassadors” Program, a national initiative aimed at developing Saudi talent through international-standard hospitality training, as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen its tourism workforce under Vision 2030. The ministry signed several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with leading global hotel brands, including Rosewood Jeddah, to provide Saudi nationals with practical, on-the-job training at internationally recognized hotels.
Building a Skilled Hospitality Workforce
The Hospitality Ambassadors Program held in Saudi Arabia is designed to equip Saudi professionals with world-class operational, leadership, and customer service skills through immersive training in advanced hotel operations. By combining hands-on experience with international hospitality standards, the initiative aims to prepare a new generation of highly skilled professionals capable of supporting Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding tourism and hospitality industry. The Ministry of Tourism said the program forms part of its broader strategy to create a sustainable, globally competitive tourism ecosystem while enhancing service quality across the Kingdom.

Rosewood Jeddah Joins National Talent Development Drive
As one of Jeddah’s leading luxury hotels, Rosewood Jeddah will play a key role in the initiative by offering participants exposure to international hospitality standards, operational excellence, and guest-focused service. The hotel said aspiring Saudi professionals will gain practical industry experience that will help them build long-term careers in hospitality while contributing to the country’s growing tourism sector.
Supporting Vision 2030 Through Human Capital Development
Commenting on the partnership, Hussein Deyekh, Managing Director of Rosewood Jeddah, described the initiative as a major investment in the future of Saudi tourism. “The Hospitality Ambassadors Program is a meaningful investment in the future of Saudi tourism.

We are proud to join the Ministry of Tourism in supporting an initiative that creates valuable opportunities for Saudi talent to gain practical experience within world-class hospitality environments,” he said. Deyekh added that Rosewood Jeddah remains committed to developing local talent, promoting service excellence, and supporting the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030 through the advancement of national hospitality leadership.
Blending Saudi Hospitality with Global Best Practices
According to the Ministry of Tourism, the program is rooted in Saudi Arabia’s long-standing traditions of generosity and hospitality while integrating internationally recognized hospitality practices. Officials said the initiative seeks to transform these cultural values into a competitive advantage for the Kingdom’s tourism sector by enabling Saudi professionals to deliver authentic local hospitality alongside global service standards. The ministry believes the approach will further strengthen Saudi Arabia’s reputation as an emerging global tourism destination.

Part of Broader Tourism Workforce Development Strategy
The Hospitality Ambassadors Program is the latest addition to the Ministry of Tourism’s ongoing talent development initiatives. Alongside programs such as the Executive Master’s Program, the ministry has significantly expanded professional training opportunities across the tourism sector.
Since 2020, the Ministry of Tourism has provided more than 700,000 training opportunities for tourism professionals, supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals of enhancing human capital, improving service quality, and building a competitive tourism industry.
