The Weather Forecasting Division has reported that the current weather conditions across Nepal are characterized by partial to generally cloudy skies, with light to moderate rain observed in some areas of Bagmati Province, a few places in Madhes Province, and isolated locations in the remaining provinces.
As the day progresses, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in various regions across all provinces. Additionally, heavy rainfall may occur in one or two locations within the Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The Division attributes these weather patterns to the ongoing influence of active monsoon winds nationwide.
Tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with light to moderate rain anticipated in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as a few locations in the other provinces.
Looking ahead to the next 24 hours, the Division forecasts the possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in several regions across all provinces. The monsoon’s continued activity suggests that the weather will remain unsettled, necessitating caution for those residing in affected areas.
