Released on Thursday, the “World’s Greatest Places 2024” list was compiled by Time Magazine with input from its global network of correspondents and contributors.
Located in the Khata Wildlife Corridor, Burhan Wilderness Camp is a vital component of Bardiya National Park. The camp is renowned for its rich biodiversity, featuring iconic species such as the one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, Asian wild elephant, and a variety of bird species, including the black ibis, ruddy shelduck, nightjar, and fishing owl.
Visitors to Burhan Wilderness Camp can partake in various activities, with a primary focus on camping. The camp ensures that camping is conducted sustainably, with restrictions in place during off-peak times to protect the environment.
