Dallas police are investigating a shooting incident involving a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft at Dallas Love Field Airport, Texas. The plane, which was preparing for a flight to Indianapolis on Friday evening, was struck by a bullet.
The incident occurred shortly after 10 PM as the aircraft was preparing for departure. The bullet hit the right side of the plane and became lodged just below the flight deck. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among passengers or crew members.
Following the incident, the flight returned safely to the gate, and all passengers were deboarded. Authorities have grounded the aircraft and declared it unfit for further flights until the investigation is complete.
As of Saturday morning, no arrests had been made, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
