Kathmandu Valley Sees Continuous Temperature Drop, Fair Weather Expected

The Kathmandu Valley has been experiencing a steady decline in temperature, with meteorologists predicting this trend to continue. Despite the drop, the weather is expected to remain fair in the region.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the minimum temperature in the valley was recorded at 3.9 degrees Celsius this morning, rising to 4 degrees Celsius later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 17 to 19 degrees Celsius today.

The weather bulletin also reported that the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country is expected to have fair weather. However, foggy weather is forecasted in many parts of the Terai and the Kathmandu Valley, with smog expected in some areas.

For tonight, the Meteorological Forecasting Division predicts partly cloudy conditions in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with similar conditions expected in some parts of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki, Lumbini, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has advised the public to take necessary precautions due to the expected foggy climate in the Terai and Valley on Friday morning.
