A Turkish Airlines flight arriving from Istanbul experienced an “overshoot” as it approached Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to Flight Radar, the aircraft was scheduled to land at 6:10 AM but touched down 20 minutes later after the overshoot.
The airport office reported that the overshoot occurred due to a “missed approach.”
An air traffic controller (ATC) stated that the overshoot was a result of an “unstable approach.”
