For the first time, the Nepal-India-China Exhibition (NICE-2025) has begun in Pokhara, the tourism capital of Nepal. The event, aimed at attracting more tourists from India and China, will run for three days with over 600 participants, including 80 buyers, 70 sellers, and 75 international representatives.

Organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board, Pokhara Tourism Council, and other government and private stakeholders, the expo aims to strengthen business networks and tourism opportunities among the three countries.

Pokhara, known for its stunning lakes, trekking trails, and adventure tourism, is being promoted not only as a trekking and adventure hub but also as a prime destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism under the theme “NICE for MICE and More.” According to PATA Nepal CEO Suresh Singh Budal, the expo is designed to highlight Nepal’s tourism potential and integrated business opportunities in India and China, two of the world’s largest tourism markets.

On the second day (Falgun 13), the Knowledge Forum will feature discussions on topics like visa policies and sustainable hospitality, along with B2B exhibitions, business meetings, and networking sessions. With 20 globally renowned travel companies and tour operators from Nepal, India, and China participating, the expo is expected to significantly boost tourism and business ties.

Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya emphasized the historic importance of this event, stating that it will strengthen tourism, trade, and cultural relations among the three countries. Pokhara Tourism Council President Taranath Pahari also highlighted the expo’s role in promoting Pokhara’s tourism potential and fostering trilateral partnerships.
