The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued a weather bulletin this morning, indicating that the weather across Nepal is likely to remain partly to generally cloudy throughout the day.
According to the bulletin, there is a chance of heavy rainfall in one or two places within the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Additionally, a few places in the Madhes region might experience similar conditions. Light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is also forecasted in several places within the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
The weather is expected to continue being partly to generally cloudy across the country tonight. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur in a few places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in one or two places within the Madhes and Lumbini provinces. There is also a likelihood of heavy rainfall in one or two places in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces tonight.
In a bulletin issued last night, the Division indicated that different parts of the country might experience rainfall over the next two days, particularly during nighttime. However, the weather is expected to improve compared to the past three days. The forecast suggests that nighttime rains will persist until Friday night, after which the weather is anticipated to become more stable and clear.
Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions, especially in areas prone to heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
