BARN and NATTA Trade Forge Stronger Collaboration in Nepal

A joint meeting between the Board of Airline Representatives in Nepal (BARN) and the Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA) was successfully held at Mercure Kathmandu Sukedhara Heights, under the theme “Strengthening Airline and Travel Trade Collaboration.” The event aimed to enhance coordination, foster partnerships, and address key issues of mutual interest between airlines and the travel trade sector.

Networking Session

The programme kicked off with the arrival of BARN and NATTA members, followed by casual networking sessions where participants shared insights and discussed the latest trends and challenges in Nepal’s aviation and tourism sectors.

The event was chaired by Mr. Anil Ghimire, Chairman of BARN, and facilitated by Mr. Sarik Bogati, General Secretary of BARN. The session was moderated by the Vice Chairman of BARN, Mr. Bhola Bikram Thapa. NATTA was represented by its President, Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya, who welcomed all participants and highlighted the importance of strengthened collaboration between airlines and travel operators.

During the programme, the representative of Mercure Kathmandu Sukedhara Heights was presented with a Letter of Appreciation for supporting the collaborative initiative. Following this, the hotel team provided a guided property tour, showcasing the venue’s facilities and hospitality standards.
