Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-6, located in Rajoura, is witnessing a vibrant religious and cultural event aimed at raising funds for the renovation of the Laxminarayan Temple and the construction of a Dharmashala and Gaushala. The ongoing Jhula Mahotsav and Shringarik Maha Aarti have garnered significant attention and support from devotees and philanthropists alike.
During the event, numerous donors have stepped forward to contribute towards the temple renovation and Dharmashala construction. Notably, Lumbini Province Assembly member Rekha Sharma announced a donation of NPR 1 million, sourced from the Member of Parliament Development Fund. Additionally, on Tuesday, Binil KC, President of the Tulsipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, donated NPR 111,000.
Narayani Rajoure, a correspondent for the National News Agency in Dang, donated NPR 105,000 in memory of her late father Umakant Rajoure, mother Geeta Devi Rajoure, husband Hariprasad Adhikari, and brother Chandramani Rajoure. Similarly, industrialist Uttam Kumar Shrestha of Tulsipur contributed NPR 111,000 in memory of his late parents. Gokarna Giri, a businessman from Tulsipur, also donated more than NPR 100,000.
Furthermore, Ward Chairman Dujman Bhandari of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-6 has provided a cooler for the temple. The Jhula Mahotsav and Maha Aarti have seen a steady increase in the number of devotees each day. According to Swami Keshava Acharya (Suryapaki), the coordinator of the temple management committee, the details of the donations, both in cash and kind, will be made public three days after the conclusion of the festival.
The Jhula Mahotsav and Shringarik Maha Aarti will continue until Bhadra 2 (August 18), as announced by the organizers.
